Whether you have had your baby's name picked out for months, or you don't plan on deciding until you actually give birth, it is so much fun to research baby names.
Here are my two favorite sites to surf for baby name options and information!
www.socialsecurity.gov - you can type in any year all the way back to 1885 or so and see the top names of that year. Mary was #1 for something like 50 years!
www.babynamewizard.com - click on Name Voyager - this is great fun. See the peaks and valleys of a name's popularity over the decades.
You might notice that some of the most popular names of today did not even exist 50 years ago!
